Jaipur has one of the most amazing sites which is the Lake Palace or the Jal Mahal. As the name suggests this palace is literally a water palace standing in the waters of lake Man Sagar. It is designed in the classical Rajasthan style and is a fine symmetric structure.
Our next site is the City Palace which was built by the founder of the city Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. It is still a residence to the last royal blood of the kingly clan. In an hour you will be able to see through the City Palace museum inside which displays the royal weaponry, costumes, and clothes. The palace also is decorated with beautiful paintings that date back to the Rajput history. The city palace is open all seven days of the week.
It is a few mins walks from City Palace and is an astronomical delight. The Maharaja was very fascinated with celestial bodies. Jantar Mantar has 16 astronomical instruments each with a very specific purpose and reflects the brilliant Indian Medieval Astronomy. They are particularly used to observe celestial bodies and attract a lot of history lovers.
Hawa Mahal is also known as the Palace of Winds. This five-story building was traditionally built for the royal ladies to look around in the city as to what is happening from within. It was their escape to view the outside world. Hawa Mahal is also the most photographed structure in Jaipur. It is an important landmark in the old main city.
We leave back for Delhi and you can sit back and relax after the day's tiredness and reflect over the beautiful memories which you take back with you from the Pink City. Our driver will drop you at your desired location and your trip with us ends here.
